Anthua has a law degree from Universidad La Salle (Mexico), from where he graduated with Honorable Mention. After graduating from the University, he began working at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property and had the opportunity to pursue a specialty in Industrial Property Law at the Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IPIDEC), being the first graduate to obtain this academic degree in Mexico. 

Always wishing to keep himself updated, he began studying for a Master’s Degree in Copyrights, Industrial Property and New Technologies at the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico).  

He is co-author of the book “AMPPI Genesis and Legislative Evolution of Intellectual Property”, which was published in 2019; he has also participated in specialized forums, has been interviewed by different media outlets and has published several articles on Intellectual Property in Mexico. 

At Balder, Anthua works in the areas of Trademarks and Copyrights, especially in trademark infringement litigation. He is also a professor at the Law School of the National Bar Association (Mexico), where he teaches Intellectual Property Law and Computer Law.
