In February 1991 Ana joined the Trademark Department of one of the main Spanish IP Law firms, with offices in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. After some years doing different types of work, she was offered the opportunity to be responsible for the maintenance and renewal section, where she definitely lived up to the expectations!
Ana joined BALDER in 2012, and she is in charge of the maintenance and renovations section of the Patent, Trademark and Designs Departments, in addition to other formal tasks.
In her little spare time, Ana, who is a mother of a girl and a boy, enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She is also a keen reader and very much enjoys attending all Gymnastic competitions where her daughter is competing.
Ana says: “As Victor Hugo said, ‘The future has several names. For the weak, it is impossible; for the fainthearted, it is unknown; but for the valiant, it is ideal’. Now at BALDER I think I have the opportunity to increase my knowledge in other areas of Intellectual Property, as well as to share with my colleagues the experience I have attained after all these years”.
