ATTORNEY AT LAW ADMITTED IN SPAIN AND GERMANY
CERTIFIED ATTORNEY AT LAW IN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN GERMANY
Kathrin has, as several other BALDER colleagues, a cultural and linguistical Spanish-German and Latin American background since at the age of three she moved with her family to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she lived until her fourteenth birthday. She always says that these years have shaped her personal and professional development. Upon her return to Germany, Kathrin felt also very comfortable in Holzminden, where she did her high school graduation (“Abitur”). Afterwards, Kathrin began her Law studies with an additional education in Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth and after its successful completion, she moved to Munich. There, she completed her legal clerkship and joined a reputed IP boutique in which she could get to know and appreciate the charm of the IP world. In 2011, Kathrin passed the oral and written exams for the admission as attorney at law in Spain and two years later, her education as certified attorney at law in Intellectual Property in Munich.
For personal reasons, she moved with her Argentinian husband to Spain by the end of 2013, where she began her professional activity in the legal department of MANGO, a well-known Spanish fashion company. However, soon Kathrin noticed that she was missing the IP world. A contact with two BALDER colleagues led her back to said legal field. Kathrin already appreciated BALDER during her years in Munich due to its modern and attractive corporate philosophy. Nowadays, she is very happy to be part of the BALDER family.
Kathrin adores the Spanish zest for life and optimism and has now found a perfect cultural and professional environment in a law office with a notable German desk, which allows her to use her two mother tongues, German and Spanish.
Kathrin loves to spend time with her family and friends and to travel passionately in order to get to know new cultures.
