Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI) signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) .

During the mission of the committee of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office to the 56th General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, its President has met with the General-Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) in order to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two offices.

The General-Director of the OEPM has declared her intention to collaborate with the Trust Funds of Spain and Brazil in order to carry out joint activities and to create technology transfer agreement models.

The President of the INPI has stressed the importance of the cooperation between Spain and the Ibero-American countries, and has invited his Spanish counterpart to participate in the International Symposium of Latin American Intellectual Property Academies, to be held next November in Florianopolis, Brazil.
