B. A. Multilingual Communication
Pia was raised in Southern Germany, near the Lake Constance. After finishing high school, specializing in languages, she considered moving abroad. She decided however she would acquire first some professional experience at a travel agency, so that she could enjoy some economic independence and also get to know a bit the business world.
After finishing that stage, she packed her bag and moved to Andalucía, in Southern Spain, where she started working at a Spanish restaurant. There she mastered the language and got to know the country, its people and its culture. She decided then that someday she would live in Spain, reason for which she studied Spanish and English.
She went back to Germany to study “Multilingual Communication, economy specialization”, in Köln. During that period, Pia also worked at a reputed international law firm, where she discovered her interest for the legal business.
As a consequence of an Erasmus scholarship she had in 2012 another opportunity to spend some time abroad. As her last experience in Spain had been so positive, Pia repeated the experience, but this time choosing a larger city. She picked then Madrid and studied at the Complutense University. During that time, her will to live in Spain was certainly reinforced and after finishing her Arts degree, she finally moved to Madrid and started a new stage in her life.
