B. A. International Communication and Translation
Julia was born and raised in Southern Germany. Shortly after she started her studies of International Communication and Translation (in both English and Spanish) at the University of Hildesheim in 2006, she decided to spend some time in Spain to improve her language skills. With the help of an Erasmus scholarship she was granted, she studied for a year at a prestigious private university in Madrid. During that time she fell in love with both the city and the culture and lifestyle of the Spanish people and –of course– with the good weather that usually prevails in Spain, and she eventually decided to move back to Madrid after finishing her studies in Germany with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Julia has been living in Madrid since 2010, and, taking the first steps in her professional career, she started working in an investment firm, where she was responsible for administrative tasks of all kind and quickly got used to dealing with clients and business partners from different countries in different languages. After gaining a few years of experience in the financial sector, she was offered the opportunity to join the team of BALDER in the patent department in 2012.
Julia shares with the rest of the team of BALDER their enthusiasm for learning and improving constantly, and the spirit of motivation on which the success of the firm is based, and she feels very proud to be part of the project.
She is fascinated by the versatile world of industrial property where there is always something new to learn. She strives day after day to contribute to the success of firm and, above all, to customer satisfaction.
Julia enjoys spending her free time in the company of her friends. She also likes to travel and has a great interest in foreign countries and cultures, but also the sport and a healthy lifestyle should not be forgotten. She is a fan of running and she also loves good food.
