Attorney at Law
LL.M. in Intellectual Property
Spanish Patent and Trademark Attorney
European Trademark Attorney

In 1998 Blanca finished her Law Degree. Right afterwards, not really knowing what to do next and having become interested in International Law, she decided to take the Magister Lvcentinvs in Intellectual Property in her hometown Alicante (Spain), where the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) has its seat.

It was only then when she realized that IP, and especially trademark matters, was the field of Law she really liked, as it combines three things that Blanca loves: an international flair, a great deal of creativity, and the opportunity of getting involved with the development and protection of brands.

Before joining BALDER in 2012, Blanca did internships in the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office and in several IP Firms, including a wonderful experience in a small IP boutique in Dublin (Ireland). She also had the opportunity to work for two of the most important Spanish IP firms with offices in Portugal and Latin America.

Blanca handles especially trademark prosecution matters, from trademark clearance to registration, as well as oppositions before the Spanish Patent Office and the OHIM, mainly for our foreign clients.

She enjoys spending time with her family and is devoted to her two daughters. She also likes dancing and window-shopping.

Blanca says: “Balder is a dynamic and flexible Firm that provides a motivating environment for those hard-workers who love their profession and are committed to their business. As Thomas Jefferson said: ’I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.’”
