B. A. Hispanic Studies

Andrea was born and raised in Western Germany, near Cologne. When she finished High School, she decided to do an apprenticeship as a forwarding merchant. However, she subsequently thought that she could aim for more and decided to study Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Nijmegen, in the Netherlands. During her Bachelor’s degree, Andrea chose to go three times abroad. In 2013-2014 she studied one semester at the University of Granada, in Southern Spain. Next year, she did an internship as a German teacher at a language academy in Madrid and after that, she worked as Public Relations in a 5 star hotel in Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands.

After having finished her Bachelor’s degree, in the summer of 2015, she looked for a job in the beautiful city Madrid and started working at BALDER. Although she had never worked before in the legal field, she is glad that she found such an interesting job. “I especially like the variety of this work and that I am working in a so young and ambitious team. Each day I am learning something new, and I get the chance to use the languages I speak -German, English, Spanish and Dutch- which is one of my passions. All this in my favourite Spanish city: Madrid!”.
